In late 2006, LUCITÀ was approached by Michael Connor, publisher of the well-known Business Ethics magazine, to design and develop a web site for a new organization formed to address issues of social responsibility in U.S. media. Newly minted as Open MIC's Executive Director, Michael wanted a clean, elegant look and a stable CMS (content management system) so that the staff could easily update the site's content.

We created a design that visually represents some of the qualities of responsible media: clean-cut, direct, and to the point. We also designed the organization's logo... click here for more details on that.

Funded by the SURDNA Foundation, Open MIC (The Open Media and Information Companies Initiative) is a non-profit organization working to promote a vibrant, diverse media ecosystem through market-based solutions.
